Expedition Annapurna II(7,937 m) lies Western part of the Manag District Nepal. The peaks exact location can be found at the coordinates of 28°35’45”N83°49’20”E. The Annapurna massif contains six major peaks, Annapurna I (8091m/26,545ft), Annapurna II(7937m/26,040ft), Annapurna III(7555m/24,786ft), Annapurna IV (7525m/24,688ft),  Gangapurna (7455m/24,457ft), Annapurna South (7219m/23,684ft). Annapurna Conservation Area. This was the first conservation area in Nepal and still remains the largest conservation area in Nepal. The Annapurna Conservation Area is home to several world-class treks, including the Annapurna Circuit. Annapurna is one of the world’s most technical mountains for that reason it has a bad fatality to summit ratio. The climb is a serious adventure and one of the most difficult 8000m peaks in the world. The South Face of Annapurna is one of the largest and steepest faces in the world. The face is awesome in size and difficulty. The South Face is 3000 feet higher than the Southwest face of Mt. Everest. After arriving in Kathmandu you will have a day of preparations and briefing for your climbing permit. Following that you will be flying to Pokhara and then driving to Tatopani by jeep. The start of the route is a steep 70degree section that requires 500m of fixed rope. Here is the objective hazard area of the falling seracs. From camp I to camp II the climbing is slightly less steep but is still difficult with high objective avalanche danger. This section requires roughly 1000m of fixed rope. Mardi Himal Trek.


Trip Itinerary

ITINERARY

Day 01 ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU (1350M/4425FT) (A)
Showing your name board, our airport representative waits in Kathmandu international airport (TIA). You transfer to hotel, check in, and free time.

Day 02-03 TRIP FINAL PREPERATION IN KATHMANDU
In the morning, generally at 8 am, eco-friendly treks staff come to meet you at your hotel. Please manage to be there at lobby with:
(a) your original passport to prepare necessary adventure eco holiday permit/s from the concerned authority,
(b) a couple of same passport size photos for permit/s and,
(c) Trip final full payment. The staff introduces you with your trip guide at the same time. You have time to interact with your guide, he may check and suggest your trip equipment, and packing for the trip on your interest, please tell us if you like this. The rest of the day, you may buy or hire additional equipment and packing (if necessary). Then, you rest for acclimatization and final preparation for the trip. If you like any additional program for the day, please inform us at the time of mail corresponding.

Expedition Annapurna II(7,937 m). is Western part of the Manag District, Nepal lies in Besishar its take 4 days from Besihar to Base Camp.The Annapurna II(7,937m/ 26,040ft) is an independent peak that falls in the eastern part of the Annapurna mountain ranges. First climbed in 1960 by a team led by J.O.M Roberts, an experienced mountaineer then, the Annapurna II is the 16th highest peak in the world. In 1983 a team of mountaineers went for an Annapurna II Expedition reaching the tip of the mighty white mountain via the first ascent of the south spur. Similarly there were many such expeditions and some of them were rewarded and also received significant publicity.

On your way to the snow-capped dominating pinnacle, you will come across natural vegetation and lush-green forests. There are tea houses and lodges to relax and spend the night on the base camp route. The route to the 2nd highest mountain among the Annapurna mountains, is via the west ridge of the mountain. The difficulty level is high as there are several steep ice-slopes and a 3 km long ridge at an altitude of 7,000 m above sea level.
